Three available plans:

Bronze (stated component plan) covers: engine, transmission, drive axle, air conditioning, electrical, and taxes & fluids. Enhanced technology only available on vehicles up to 100,000 miles.

Silver (stated component plan) includes: Bronze coverage, engine cooling, engine fuel, front suspension, steering, brakes, extended drivetrain, extended air conditioning, extended electrical, and seals & gaskets (included up to 100,000 miles). Enhanced technology and enhanced safety & convenience only available on vehicles up to 100,000 miles. Hybrid/alternative battery available as an add on surcharge (Silver and Bronze).

Platinum/Platinum II/Platinum Wrap (exclusionary plan) covers: the cost of all mechanical repairs to a covered vehicle except those listed under Exclusions – What is Not Covered. Lighting package and snow plow available as an add on surcharge.

Additional Benefits Include

Emergency Roadside Assistance includes: towing, jump start, flat tire change, lock-out service, and emergency gas and fluid delivery. Pays up to $100 per occurrence.

Rental car reimbursement included on all plans. Reimbursement for actual expenses $35/day, for 5 days, not to exceed $175.

Trip Interruption Assistance (not available for Bronze level coverage): reimbursement for actual expenses: $75/day for 3 days, not to exceed $225.

Optional Coverage: commercial use, modified vehicle, mobility coverage, and hybrid drive battery.

Compass EV Exclusionary VSC Protection will cover the necessary cost of repairs for ANY breakdown to your vehicle, less the deductible selected on the agreement, except for items and terms listed under “Exclusions-What Is Not Covered.” Included in this coverage is the replacement of covered components resulting from the gradual reduction in performance due to normal wear and use when the wear exceeds the manufacturer’s specifications. Compass Basic Covers

Engine and Water Pump: The following stated components are covered. All internally lubricated parts of engine, including pistons, piston rings, piston pins, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and rod bearings, camshaft and camshaft bearings, timing chain, timing gears, intake and exhaust valves, valve springs, oil pump, push rods, rocker arms, hydraulic lifters, rocker arm shafts, and water pump. Diesel engine: turbocharger and fuel injection pump.

Transmission: The following stated components are covered. Internally lubricated parts of manual or automatic transmissions including: oil pump, drums, planetaries, sun gear and shell, shafts, bearings, shift rail, forks, and synchronizers.

Drive Axle: Front wheel drive equipped: drive axle housing and all internally lubricated parts including: carrier case, gear sets, chain and sprockets, bearings, bushings, and axle shafts. Rear wheel drive equipped: drive axle case and all internal lubricated parts including: carrier, ring and pinion gears, gear sets, bearings, bushings, limited
slip clutch pack, and axle shafts. Four wheel drive/all wheel drive equipped: when selected on the information page, all components listed under front wheel and rear wheel equipped are covered.

Transfer Case: Repair or replacement of internally lubricated parts are covered. The transfer case housing is not covered unless damaged by an above listed internally lubricated covered part.

Available Plans

Basic covers: replacement/repair costs of a tire and/or wheel damaged as a result of operational or structural failure, due to a defect in material or workmanship. Basic coverage also provides protection from damage caused by road hazards (includes mounting, balancing, valve stems, and taxes).

Roadside Assistance includes: Basic coverage, plus 24/7 emergency roadside assistance benefits up to $100 per occurrence.

Cosmetic includes: Basic coverage, plus coverage for the repair of cosmetic damage to an alloy or steel wheel.

Cosmetic/Roadside includes: Basic, Cosmetic, and Roadside coverage, as defined above.

In the event that your key and/or key remote is lost, inoperable or destroyed, Compass Key Replacement will cover the cost of a replacement key and/or key remote, not to exceed $400 per year for Plan 1 or $800 per year for Plan 2.

The benefit payable is not subject to a deductible.

There is no mileage limitation to be eligible for the coverage.

Compass Care Vehicle Protection

Compass Care products offer superior appearance protection for a car’s exterior. Compass Care covers Windshield Repairs, Alloy/Steel Cosmetic Wheel Repairs, and Dents & Dings when they occur, helping retain the vehicle’s value for up to 5 years with no mileage limitations.

Compass Care Alloy/Steel Cosmetic Wheel Repair provides coverage for cosmetic repairs to an alloy or steel wheel.

Includes coverage for repair of cosmetic damage to alloy/steel wheels.

Dent & Ding

Compass Care Dent & Ding Protection covers repairs of dents and dings on the vehicles exterior painted sheet metal body panels.

Features & Benefits

No mileage limitations.

Covers dents to a maximum of 4 inches.

Will not harm vehicle’s factory finish.

Uses proven PDR techniques to remove door dings and minor dents without affecting the existing paint finish.

Repairs may be completed at the dealership or a preferred location.
